The first event weekend of Old Great Square’s Christmas is here!
You can enjoy the spirit of Christmas by exploring the market area, where you can find both delicious Christmas treats and the beautiful craftsmanships of the vendors. To further set the atmosphere there are both live music and circus performances to enjoy.
Today you can, for example, enjoy the music as the Chamber choir kamarikuoro Melos delight the visitors with their singing at the Brinkkala yard from 1.00-1.15 PM. Later, from 3.15-3.30 PM and 4.30-4.45 PM, at the same stage you can enjoy a Christmassy Circus Show by (sirkustaiteilijat). There are also other performances happening throughout the day, as Auran Tytöt keeps a knot school and Puolala School’s music oriented classes perform a traditional Christmas show. And you can also meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at Santa’s Workshop.
